WaitToKillServiceTimeout for Windows


I had this big frown on my face yesterday, as I was watching my PC does all the walking instead of running -- I'm referring to how my computer runs the applications too SLOWLY. It started when I turned off my PC without passing through the normal shutdown process, I forced it. So when I turned it on again, the problem starts. Opening any explorer related operations seems to take much time, burning down my patience in the process. Even shutting down the PC in a normal way would take minutes to do so.I suspected that it was caused by the recent update I've done to my antivirus. Or worse, it was caused by a virus/worm carried by a the USB which was inserted prior to this problem aroused.

Good thing is, the night when I was about to format my drive to solve my nagging problem, the problem was temporarily gone. So the first thing I did was to check my system. I did found out one problem that may cause my problem. It concerned on the systems optimization. This was the setting found at the registry:
